My son had the most expensive oil change ever. He took his car to have the oil changed & while there the manager told him the battery light came on. They checked the alternator & said it was going out & offered the put in a new one. We opted to do that ourselves, so he drove the car straight home. Which was very, very fortunate, as they'd left the oil cap off!!!!!!
After being apprised of their ineptitude, they towed the car to their place, checked it, & put on a new cap. My son then replaced said failing alternator. Car wouldn't stay running. Charged battery, jumped it.....Hhmmm, for kicks & grins I checked the water in the battery. It was very low. Put water in, car runs fine....So, in other words, alternator was fine. Thanks guys, he spent money on a new alternator he did not need because y'all didn't check the water!?!?!?!!!
Never again. We will never go there again.
